What good is having tools if you don't use them?

Most of these blogs come from personal experience and self introspection. I have come to the understanding that we as people don't use what we have and therefore suffer needlessly in situations that we have the ability to change. For a long time I used the excuse that I didn't know, I was not aware, I need help, if I could find someone to talk things through, and so on. I justified my lack of achievement by focusing on what I did not have, but I never looked at what I did have. My focus kept me in lack and mediocrity. I never allowed myself an opportunity to grow and expand beyond where I was at the time. I am still daily overcoming this revelation by the way. People talk to me and see the potential of what I can do and are willing to put their confidence in me concerning important task they need to have done. What is it that they see? My tools! They can visualize what they would do if they had what I have. Isn't that amazing? They have confidence in what they see that I have, but I have it and can't see the potential of it. Many of us are like this, so what is the solution. aAt some point we have to become aware of what we have. We have to value the tools that we were given and start to use them in a way that will help other people. We have to develop some purpose and identity based on what makes us different and special. If we start with these basic strategies, we will start to experience positive and favorable solutions in our lives and in the lives of the people we help. I would call that a great way to learn the value that we have as we assist others using our tools. In the end, we are the warehouse for the tools that we have in our possession and are gifted to use them, not for ourselves, but for the benefit of others. Our value comes partly in what we can add to this world, not from what we can hold on to. What good is having tools if you don't use them. That would just be a waste.

What does it take for you a achieve success?

If there was a easy formula for success then everyone would achieve it. What I have discovered is that success is not what is ordinarily defined by people. There are many people when asked the question,"What are some of the keywords to success?" would formulate a list of words like:
Diligence, Hard work, Consistency, Effort, Goals, Heart, Desire, Positive, Persistence, Determination, Reliability, Responsibility, Delegation, Support, Direction, Purpose, Accomplishments, Coaching, Supervision, Leadership, Pursuit, Instruction, Decisions, Choices, Confidence, Solutions, Resources, Targets, Values, Ethics, Perspective, Outlook, Character, Challenges, Communication...... and so on and so on.  As an exercise, if you said, __________ is a key to success. [using a word from the list above. I am sure that you would agree that these words are often used as a key part to the success process.  What if I said that none of these words singularly or grouped together would not guarantee success.  Now before you have an attack of some kind or totally think that I am crazy, please hear me out. There us one thing that ties all of these concepts together that will assure your success. That word is system.  Let's try it out.  Say this,"___________itself will not guarantee success but _____________ plus a system will. [for the blank you can use any combination of terms above and this will still be true.]  Please try this out and send me you comment about what you discover and fill free to include any other words that you feel will enhance the list.

As always, I strive to keep you thinking.

What is Love Not?

People over the years have been conditioned, educated, and influence to put love in a number of categories’ and give it a cookie cutter definition that, in most cases falls short of the totality of what love is. Here are some thoughts on the topic that may spark conversation.

Let’s look at what love is not.
 Here is a list:
Affection
Emotion
Feelings
Intimacy
Making love (including sex of forms of intercourse)
Sacrifice
Giving
Being kind
Mercy
Caring
Blind

This short list are some of the common uses for the meaning of love, but these are nothing more than ways that we express love one toward another.
Love is demonstrated through action and consistent behavior.
Love is a choice- it comes from a sense of comfort, familiarity, attraction, or kinship, (a connection expressed or experienced between) between individuals.
As relationships develop, a key point would be The Rules of Interaction. What is expressed in action is a byproduct of the rules of the relationship, (type of interaction) chosen by individuals.  Love is internal, external; it is only limited by our choices, decision, view, agreement, and thoughts.

What is Love’s source?  [God, Holy Spirit, and your will.]
Love is a motivation to act.
Making love is a decision to act in a way that expresses what you understand love to be.
Puppy love is an identification of desire to be involved with someone for the purpose of expressing what you think love is.
Being in love is a decision to express what you think love is choosing to commit yourself to a person or thing and being willing to do whatever you believe it takes to make and keep that interaction.

Driven by Purpose!

Driven by Purpose!
In the state of the world today, we are constantly adjusting to the issues of the world that we all face. It could be relationships (both personal and social), children (the issues of life they face from school societal), economic (the job market and our general education), beliefs (spiritual and social), and a general sense of who we are a people. My experience and conversations with many people have in these areas has given me a passion to study, share, and dialogue about these issues in depth. The only way to learn is to be exposed to new information, then study the content out to come to an educated conclusion.  This is my goal in this blog.  I invite everyone to share their views, sources, and experiences to the masses for the purpose of greater education in a diversity of area.
This is what I am driven to do. Join me in the discussions to discovery.
